A few days after teasing its new lower mid-range phone, Samsung launched it today. It is the Galaxy F36, and it is a rebranded version of the Galaxy M36 that was launched a few weeks ago. The Galaxy F36 keeps all the specs of the Galaxy M36, but gets a new material on the back.
The Galaxy F36 will be available exclusively through Flipkart and Samsung India's websites. It is priced at INR 17,499 (~$203) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and INR 18,999 (~$220) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It comes in three colours: Coral Red, Luxe Violet and Onyx Black.
For the time being, Samsung is offering a coupon of INR 500 (~$5.85) on the phone. In addition to this, if you buy the phone using a credit or debit card from any major bank, you can get an instant discount of INR 1,000 (~$11.61). You can buy the phone starting from 29 July.
The Galaxy F36 has a leather pattern on its back. It has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by a Gorilla Glass Victus+ panel. The phone comes equipped with the Exynos 1380 processor, 6GB/8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot.

On the front, the Galaxy F36 has a 13MP selfie camera. On the rear, it has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. Its front-facing and primary rear-facing cameras can record up to 4K 30fps videos with EIS.
The phone's 7.7mm frame is made using a plastic frame. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, GPS, a dual-SIM card slot, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port.
